DR PETER GAMMONS is respected around the world as an evangelist, statesman and Bible scholar. It is historically documented that he has spoken to larger crowds than any other person in history, with up to four million people in a single service. He was born and raised in Ramsey, near Cambridge , England. As a young man he met with Christ and received a dramatic and supernatural call from God to "Take My healing message and My healing power to the World." Over the past thirty-five years he has ministered face to face with more than 100 million people in over100 nations of the world. He has become a friend and confidante to Presidents, Prime Ministers, Royalty, World Leaders and Movie Celebrities around the globe. In most countries he visits he is personally welcomed on arrival by Heads of State and other dignitaries. He is driven by a passion to reach the world for Christ. To do so, God gave him a five-part-strategy of City-wide Miracle Crusades, Leadership Training Events, World-wide Television, Global Radio, and 'E.C.H.O.Worldwide', (End Child Hunger Organisation), a humanitarian mission reaching out to the poor alongside his crusades and events
Lives have been touched by God in almost every nation of the world through his Television Broadcasts, which have been carried by more than 5500 television stations with global coverage by 21 satellites and his radio programmes which have been broadcast each week in every country of the world.
An award winning and Best selling author, Dr Gammons has written over 70 books and teaching manuals, with over two million books in print and his works translated into many other languages. His books capture the warmth, compassion and dedication which drives him to encircle the globe each year, ministering on every continent.
Peter graduated from Abbey College, Cambridge (formerly The Abbey) in 1978 and has earned BA, MA and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Presbyterian Faith Theological Seminary and a PhD in Pastoral Psychology from Canon University , Florida.
In 1996 Dr Gammons founded Westward College, near Cambridge , England with the mandate to "train up the next generation of evangelists and leaders to minister in the Spirit's power." Now, through our on-line Home Bible School Courses, you can earn Degrees in the comfort of your own home.
